Privacy Policy

KNURL collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and the app makes no network requests of its own.

The short version: nothing you do in KNURL leaves your phone. We have no server, so there is nowhere for your data to go even if we wanted it.

What we collect

Nothing. KNURL has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics SDK, no advertising identifier, no crash reporting service, and no tracking of any kind. We do not know who you are, that you installed the app, or how you use it.

What stays on your device

The app saves your settings locally, using Apple's standard on-device storage:

Which machine you last had open, and how each one is set up
Your chosen finish, plate faces and haptic strength
Wear-in progress for each mechanism
A cached note of whether your purchase is active, so the app draws correctly on the first frame

This never leaves the device. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

Motion

KNURL reads the accelerometer for exactly one thing: shaking the phone strikes the LIGHTER's flint. The readings are used in the moment and discarded. They are never stored and never transmitted.

Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see and never receive your name, email address, or any payment details. The app asks Apple's on-device receipt whether your purchase is active; that check does not involve any server of ours.

Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.

Children

KNURL is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, children included.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the revised version appears on this page with a new date. Since the app collects nothing, any change would be to describe the same nothing more clearly.
