Terms of Use

Last updated: 8 September 2026

KNURL is licensed under Apple's standard End User License Agreement: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. That agreement governs your use of the app. The notes below describe how the purchases work.

What is free

KNURL is free to download. PIVOT and SNAP, and all five finishes — brass, steel, copper, black oxide and titanium — are free permanently, with no purchase and no time limit. A finish changes the feel and the sound of every machine, and cuts a new face into each one; it is free because a haptic is not something anyone can judge from a screenshot.

THE FULL DRAWER

Everything else — eight more machines (KNOB, SPINNER, PLUNGER, LIGHTER, ZIPPER, COMB, FILINGS, BEGLERI) and the wear they earn with use — is sold two ways. Either one opens all of it:

Prices are shown inside the app in your own currency, and are set per country by the App Store.

When a year ends

When a one-year unlock lapses, the eight machines close again and the free bench stays exactly as it was. Anything the machines earned while the drawer was open — the wear, the odometer — is kept, and reappears if the drawer is opened again by another year or by the one-time unlock. No charge is ever made at the end of a year.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple and are subject to their policy. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.

What a lifetime purchase means

The one-time unlock opens every machine in the drawer and every machine added to it afterwards. It will not be revoked, downgraded, or converted into a subscription.
